Recruitment & Admissions Officer

About the role

The African Centre for Technical Training (ACTT) is looking for a Recruitment & Admissions Officer in Adenta, Accra, reporting to the Vice President, Growth. The role leads recruitment and admissions so that ACTT attracts and admits top talent from diverse backgrounds across Africa, using a data-driven, impact-centered approach to drive enrollment, foster inclusion and support student transitions. It is a full-time position on a one-year renewable contract.

Key responsibilities

• Lead outreach to prospective students and stakeholders such as artisans, trade associations, high schools, universities, youth organizations, parents and teachers
• Handle inquiries, manage application support and keep FAQs and resources up to date
• Use data and analytics to make recruitment decisions and meet enrollment targets
• Oversee screening to admit a diverse cohort and promote inclusion, equity and diversity
• Support international students through statutory requirements and transitional processes
• Help develop admissions policies reflecting ACTT's values
• Work with Operations, Student Life, Transition to Work, Partnerships and Marketing on admissions alignment
• Manage academic registry functions: calendar planning, timetabling, examinations, certifications and student records
• Prepare periodic reports, present data insights, support budgeting and design and evaluate surveys
• Represent ACTT at educational fairs, industry events and conferences and build recruitment pipeline relationships

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field
• Experience in admissions, recruitment or student affairs
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Strong data analysis and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, multitask and meet deadlines
• Integrity and ethical standards; ready for a start-up environment
