Regional Digital Transformation Advisor – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term (Remote)

About the role

The Regional Digital Transformation Advisor joins Generation's SAMEA regional team to serve as the primary digital‑transformation resource for country teams, initially Ghana and Kenya. Working remotely for a 12‑month fixed‑term, the advisor will guide the shift from manual workflows to scalable digital solutions and build AI literacy across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advisory and facilitation to country teams on digital‑transformation initiatives.
• Lead the transition of manual processes to digital, data‑driven solutions.
• Develop AI capability and literacy within country teams.
• Act as a bridge between country teams and Generation’s global functions on AI and digital projects.
• Prioritise, plan and ensure sustainable adoption of digital initiatives in line with global standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in digital transformation and change management.
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Ability to work remotely and collaborate across multiple countries.
• Experience in nonprofit, education, or workforce‑development contexts is a plus.
