Restaurant Supervisor

About the role

The Restaurant Supervisor will oversee daily operations in a vibrant dining environment, ensuring a smooth service flow and a high‑quality experience for guests. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will coordinate staff shifts, address customer needs, and uphold the establishment’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day restaurant operations, including staff scheduling and shift coordination.
• Supervise and motivate front‑of‑house and kitchen teams to deliver excellent customer service.
• Monitor food preparation and presentation to maintain quality and consistency.
• Handle customer feedback, complaints, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
• Assist with staff training, performance guidance, and ongoing development.
• Track inventory levels and support ordering to prevent shortages.
• Contribute to achieving sales targets and improving operational efficiency.
• Act as a communication bridge between staff and management, resolving operational issues.
• Participate in opening and closing procedures, including basic cash handling and reporting.

Required profile

• Certification in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in food service or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation.
• Good understanding of restaurant operations, food safety, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to multitask, solve problems quickly, and work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills with attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
