Sales Officer – Financial Services & Microfinance

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business through calls, referrals, networking and field visits, presenting loan and financial products to individuals and businesses.
• Assess client needs, recommend suitable financial solutions and achieve monthly sales and portfolio targets.
• Guide clients through application and documentation, maintaining strong relationships for repeat business and referrals.
• Collaborate with credit and operations teams to ensure smooth client experience and promptly escalate any documentation issues.
• Maintain accurate client records, report on sales activity, pipeline status and market trends.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Previous sales experience in a bank, micro‑finance, savings & loans, insurance or other financial institution is strongly preferred; candidates without a financial background but eager to learn are also encouraged.
