Sales Officer – Logistics and Supply Chain

About the role

The Sales Officer – Logistics & Supply Chain will drive new business and revenue growth for our logistics, transportation, freight, warehousing, distribution and supply‑chain solutions. You will identify client needs, design tailored logistics proposals and convert opportunities into profitable contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales plans to meet monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets.
• Prospect new customers through visits, referrals, networking events and digital channels.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and conduct client meetings to understand logistics requirements.
• Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, tenders and commercial offers.
• Negotiate commercial terms within approved company policies and close qualified leads.
• Build and nurture relationships with corporate clients, manufacturers, importers, exporters, distributors, retailers and e‑commerce businesses.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross‑sell additional logistics services such as freight forwarding, last‑mile delivery and inventory management.
• Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain teams to develop commercially viable solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Commercially driven professional with practical knowledge of the logistics and supply‑chain industry.
• Proven ability to identify customer needs, develop solutions and negotiate contracts.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with experience handling corporate, SME and e‑commerce clients.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
