About the role
The Koforidua Technical University is seeking qualified academics to join its faculty as Senior Lecturers across several departments. Successful candidates will contribute to teaching, research and community service in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, and Law.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the assigned discipline.
- Supervise student projects, theses and dissertations.
- Conduct and publish original research in reputable peer‑reviewed journals.
- Participate in curriculum development and departmental committees.
- Engage with industry partners and professional bodies where relevant.
Required profile
- Current appointment as Senior Lecturer (or equivalent) in a recognized public or accredited private tertiary institution.
- PhD in the relevant field of specialization.
- Minimum four years of lecturing experience.
- At least six publications in recognized peer‑reviewed journals.
- For Biomedical Engineering candidates, membership of the Allied Health Professions Council is required.
Required skills
- Strong academic teaching abilities.
- Research competence with a record of scholarly publications.
- Ability to develop course materials and assessments.
