Senior Marketing Associate

About the role

mPharma is seeking a highly motivated Senior Marketing Associate to develop and execute practical marketing strategies that strengthen the brand, boost customer engagement, and support business growth across four African countries.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute monthly and quarterly marketing plans with clear priorities, timelines, and performance targets.
• Grow mPharma’s social media presence, increase audience engagement, and generate customer interest through strategic content planning.
• Lead the production and publication of marketing materials across digital and physical channels, managing the content calendar.
• Plan and execute digital, in‑store, and community campaigns in collaboration with pharmacy and health services teams.
• Set and track performance targets, prepare monthly reports, and recommend improvements.
• Manage approved campaign budgets and evaluate activities for ROI.

• Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for increasing access to affordable, high‑quality healthcare.
• Strong work ethic, proactive “can‑do” attitude, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent writing, verbal communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
• Ability to think strategically while remaining hands‑on in execution.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Canva or similar design and content creation tools.
• Experience using Meta Business Suite and other social media management/analytics platforms.
• Basic understanding of SEO, digital advertising, and website content management.
• Hands‑on experience planning and executing digital marketing campaigns.
