Solutions Testing, Validation & Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

The Solutions Testing, Validation & Quality Assurance Engineer will ensure new telecom products, services and terminal devices meet Telecel Ghana’s standards before launch. The role involves end‑to‑end testing, regression checks after upgrades and detailed analysis of call records.

Key responsibilities

• Test and certify new products and services for implementation or rejection.
• Conduct end‑to‑end testing during platform upgrades and regression testing after hot‑fixes.
• Analyze detailed call records and provide actionable recommendations to product developers and platform vendors.
• Perform compatibility and user‑acceptance testing on mobile and fixed terminal devices.
• Validate new SIM profiles in coordination with product development and SIM vendors.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of hands‑on experience in core network or intelligent switching environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and make informed decisions on product acceptability.

Required skills

• Unix‑based systems proficiency.
• Familiarity with IT networking concepts.
• Core network and intelligent switching knowledge.
