Taxi Driver Scout (Fleet Recruitment & Training Manager)

About the role

The Fleet Driver Recruitment and Training Manager (Taxi Driver Scout) will lead the acquisition, onboarding and continuous support of taxi drivers for Urban Cars ADL in the Accra & Tema region. You will develop recruitment strategies, ensure drivers are properly trained on the Yango platform and maintain high satisfaction levels.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement driver recruitment campaigns, publish ads and contact prospects.
• Maintain a pipeline of at least 50 qualified drivers ready to sign lease agreements.
• Conduct driver orientation, training on the driver app and company policies.
• Provide daily post‑onboarding support and monitor performance during the first two weeks.
• Gather driver feedback through surveys and report insights to supervisors.
• Handle driver registration, verify documents, prepare lease agreements and enter data into the Optimum system.
• Prepare daily reports on advertisements, applications and onboarding metrics.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 month experience in driver recruitment, onboarding or related HR functions.
• Knowledge of Yango partnership terms, driver working conditions, company policies and registration processes.
• Familiarity with driver suspension policies and public database checks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Experience using driver management systems, Opteum software and the Optimum platform.
• Ability to train and guide drivers on the Yango Driver application.
