Technical Sales Representative (Oil & Gas & Mining)

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Technical Sales Representative to drive growth in the Oil & Gas and Mining sectors from our offices in Takoradi or Accra, Ghana. The role involves building long‑term client relationships, promoting inspection and technical assurance services, and travelling regularly to customer sites while working independently.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the Oil & Gas and Mining industries.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities and expand existing accounts.
- Conduct client visits, presentations and prepare quotations.
- Follow up on opportunities and ensure timely delivery of proposals.
- Collaborate with management and technical teams to deliver tailored customer solutions.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
Required profile
- Based in or near Takoradi or Accra and a Ghanaian national.
- Own a reliable vehicle and hold a valid driver’s licence.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the region.
- Proven sales experience in the Oil & Gas and/or Mining sectors.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
- Self‑motivated, target‑driven and capable of identifying new business opportunities.
- Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Inspection, NDT, QA/QC, In‑service Inspection or related fields.
- Knowledge of inspection services, QA/QC, NDT, asset integrity or industrial compliance is advantageous.
