About the role
The Territory Manager will lead the sales and collection activities for the assigned region, ensuring the achievement of volume and revenue targets while maintaining strong customer relationships. This role combines team leadership, field verification, and market development to drive the company’s growth in Accra and Tamale.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Divisional Sales Manager to plan sales activities and set territory goals.
- Achieve sales volume and collection targets with minimal costs.
- Conduct field debt verification and follow‑up on overdue accounts.
- Prepare weekly and monthly territory sales reports for management.
- Reconcile customer account disputes and resolve them promptly.
- Support Sales Representatives in managing key accounts.
- Ensure compliance with company trade policies and procedures.
- Communicate new products, promotions, and conduct product training and demonstrations.
- Expand distribution of company brands across medical institutions and pharmaceutical outlets.
- Assist in developing the annual operational and sales plan for the area.
- Monitor sales expenses, manage team performance, and participate in recruitment and training.
- Provide competitor insights and collaborate with other field managers.
Required profile
- Proven experience in sales management and territory oversight.
- Strong knowledge of collection processes and debt verification.
- Ability to supervise, coach, and motivate a sales team.
- Excellent communication skills for customer interaction and internal reporting.
- Analytical mindset to monitor sales trends and recommend strategic adjustments.
