Account Payable Finance Specialist

About the role

The Account Payable Finance Specialist will manage the end‑to‑end accounts payable cycle, ensuring invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time. The role supports audit activities, reconciliations and cross‑functional collaboration to improve cash‑flow forecasting and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Verify, code and process all invoices and payment vouchers in line with company policies and statutory requirements.
• Execute and review complex journal entries in SAP, maintaining data integrity and IFRS compliance.
• Lead monthly and quarterly reconciliations of bank, cash and supplier statements, investigating discrepancies.
• Maintain and optimise vendor and import payment databases for accurate reporting.
• Prepare schedules, documentation and variance analyses to support internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with procurement, operations and finance teams to strengthen controls and improve payment cycles.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce risk and enhance compliance.
• Undertake any strategic assignments delegated by the Finance Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and communicate effectively with internal departments and external vendors.
• High level of integrity and commitment to financial compliance.
