Accountant – Ghana (Finance Operations)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to support daily financial operations in Ghana. The role involves close interaction with partner banks, internal teams, and external auditors to ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform reconciliations, prepare financial reports and maintain documentation.
• Communicate regularly with partner banks and track updates.
• Ensure financial documentation complies with internal policies and relevant standards.
• Gather financial data from internal departments for periodic reporting.
• Assist in onboarding new financial partners by preparing and collecting required paperwork.
• Maintain organized, audit‑ready internal financial records.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Compliance teams to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitor basic regulatory changes and flag concerns.
• Submit all required tax filings on time.
• Act as the company’s legal representative for banking, regulatory, tax, and corporate matters when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• National of Ghana and member of ICAG.
• 2–3 years of experience in a finance‑related role.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication in English.
• Willing and eligible to act as the company’s legal representative.
