Accountant – Ghana (Finance Operations)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to support daily financial operations in Ghana. The role will act as a bridge between our partner banks, internal teams and external auditors, ensuring that all financial processes comply with company policies and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily reconciliations, financial reporting and documentation.
• Maintain regular communication with partner banks and track updates.
• Ensure financial documentation complies with internal policies and relevant standards.
• Gather financial data from internal departments for periodic reports.
• Support onboarding of new financial partners by preparing and collecting required paperwork.
• Keep internal financial records organized and audit‑ready.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations and Compliance teams to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitor basic regulatory changes and flag concerns.
• Submit all required tax filings on time.
• Act as the company’s legal representative for banking, regulatory, tax and corporate matters when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• National of Ghana and member of ICAG.
• 2–3 years of experience in a finance‑related role.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication in English.
• Willing and eligible to act as the company’s legal representative.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets).
• Basic financial tools for reporting and reconciliation.
