Accountant

About the role

AA Mobility Group is looking for an Accountant based in Accra. The role covers supervision of the accounting team at head office and branches, monitoring of branch accounts and financial operations, and preparation of financial statements and management reports.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the accounting team at head office and branches.
• Manage and monitor branch accounts and financial operations.
• Prepare financial statements and consolidated management reports.
• Monitor income, expenditure, cash flow and budgets.
• Ensure proper reconciliations and effective financial controls.
• Ensure compliance with tax and statutory requirements.
• Drive effective use of ERP and accounting software.
• Provide accurate financial reports to management.

Required profile

• Complete ACCA qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Proven experience managing and supervising an accounting team.
• Ability to manage branch accounts and multi-location accounting operations.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, budgeting and internal controls.
• Excellent leadership, analytical and organisational skills; high integrity and accountability.

Required skills

• Proficiency in IT, ERP systems, QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
