About the role
The Accounts Receivable Manager will lead the credit‑control function, ensuring timely collection of debts and supporting cash‑flow optimisation. This role works closely with the Accounts and Commercial teams to resolve billing issues and maintain strong customer relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the company’s accounts receivable and credit‑control function.
- Monitor customer accounts, outstanding invoices and ageing balances.
- Drive timely collection of outstanding debts and improve cash flow.
- Resolve billing, payment and account discrepancies.
- Prepare receivables reports and provide regular updates to management.
- Collaborate with Accounts and Commercial teams on customer credit matters.
Required profile
- HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
- ACCA, CIMA, ICA or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
- Proven experience in accounts receivable, credit control or collections (minimum 12 months).
Required skills
- Proficiency in QuickBooks.
- Experience with Accounting/ERP systems.
- Strong knowledge of Excel.
