Administrative & Finance Director (CFO) - Canal+ Telecom Ghana

About the role

CANAL+ Telecom Ghana is looking for a Chief Financial Officer (Administrative & Finance Director) to lead the strategic and operational management of finance, supply chain, human resources and procurement. The role leads a multidisciplinary team, reports to the Group CFO and the Area General Manager, and ensures financial health, regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage teams and service providers covering accounting, treasury, controlling, human resources and logistics
• Implement financial strategies supporting the company's business objectives
• Act as business partner to the CEO, providing strategic financial insights and challenging assumptions
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
• Ensure reliable accounts, consolidate financial data, set cost accounting and performance indicators, and prepare budgets and plans
• Manage treasury, credit, debt collection and bank relations
• Prepare financial reporting to shareholders in line with local regulations and international accounting standards
• Analyze performance in the area (sales, operations) and identify improvements
• Build relationships with financial institutions, tax authorities and banks
• Oversee HR functions (recruitment, performance management, social relations) with local and group HR, and ensure compliance with labour laws
• Develop supply chain strategies with HQ to optimise procurement and logistics

Required profile

• Degree from a business school (ESC) with a specialisation in Finance/Management
• Confirmed finance and management control profile with solid team management experience
• 8 to 15 years of experience in the telecom sector and/or consumer goods
• Fluent English
• Willingness to move geographically and strong interest in Africa
