Performance & Planning Analyst

About the role

The WAC Business Unit is looking for a highly analytical and business-oriented Performance & Planning Analyst in Accra. The role drives business planning, forecasting, performance management and governance, turning strategic objectives into actionable plans and giving leadership teams the insights needed to make informed decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate annual business planning and forecasting cycles across markets and consolidate market inputs into a Business Unit view aligned with strategy and financial objectives
• Challenge assumptions on volume, pricing, margins and cost drivers to improve forecast accuracy
• Develop and maintain performance scorecards and management dashboards, monitoring revenue, profitability, margins, working capital and debt
• Prepare monthly and quarterly business review materials, track action plans and escalate critical risks and variances
• Maintain risk and opportunity trackers and ensure mitigation plans are reflected in business outlooks
• Support long-range planning and scenario analysis, coordinating data across Commercial, Finance, Sales, Operations and Supply Chain

Required profile

• 6-8 years of experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, Business Planning, Performance Management or a related discipline
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field; professional finance or business qualifications are an advantage
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced commercial environments
