- Deliver training workshops (in-person and virtual) on participatory fisheries governance, such as the DASE app, co-management, IUU fishing and the VGGT principles.
- Hold regular coordination calls with in-country teams and provide remote support and strategic guidance.
- Support advertising, contracting and mentoring of consultants and partners in countries where EJF has no presence, and help organise workshops with small-scale fishers.
- Review and create training and guidance materials adapted to each country context.
- Build partnerships with government and civil society groups, represent the project at conferences and support communications.
- Develop impact tracking tools, support donor reporting and review expenses, and prepare budgets, track spending and forecast allocations.
- Support the administration of subgrants and contracts, including calls for proposals and subgrant agreements.
- Report monthly in writing to the Programme Coordinator and the Senior Management Team.

- At least 3 years' experience delivering development projects to a high standard and within budget, preferably across multiple countries.
- Experience working with small-scale fishing communities, grassroots organisations and external stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and French, tested at interview.
Required skills
- Public speaking and experience delivering workshops or trainings.
- Building detailed project budgets in Excel and tracking expenditure.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to handle competing priorities.
What we offer
