Associate Professor, Business School (Various Departments)

About the role

The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) invites applications for the rank of Associate Professor within its Business School. The position can be filled in any of the following departments: Management and Human Resources, Accounting, Banking and Finance, Economics, Marketing, or Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the appointed department.
• Supervise student research projects, theses and dissertations.
• Conduct high‑quality research and publish in recognized academic journals.
• Participate in community service and university outreach activities.
• Contribute to faculty development, curriculum design and departmental administration.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.
• Current appointment as Associate Professor at a recognized university, or a Senior Lecturer with at least four years of experience and a record of at least ten peer‑reviewed publications.
• Evidence of scholarly work, teaching effectiveness and service to the academic community.
• Three professional referees with contact details.
