Associate Professor – Faculty of Engineering

About the role

The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) invites applications for the rank of Associate Professor within its Faculty of Engineering. Candidates may apply to any of the following departments: Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics and Statistics.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
• Supervise student research projects, theses, and dissertations.
• Conduct scholarly research and publish in recognized journals.
• Engage in community service and outreach activities.
• Contribute to faculty development and university governance.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant engineering or applied science discipline.
• Either already appointed as Associate Professor at a recognized university under comparable conditions, or a Senior Lecturer with a minimum of four years experience and at least ten peer‑reviewed publications.
• Three professional referees with contact details.
