About the role
Toptech Transport and Logistics Ltd is seeking an Automobile Technician to join its team in Accra. The role combines hands‑on vehicle maintenance with training drivers on automobile systems, ensuring safety and reliability across the fleet.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and training sessions to professional drivers on automobile systems.
- Inspect, test and diagnose vehicles, performing preventive maintenance such as engine tune‑ups, oil changes, tire rotation, wheel balancing and filter replacement.
- Listen to client complaints, conduct thorough inspections, and repair engine, mechanical and electrical failures.
- Repair body damage, replace parts and components, and verify vehicle serviceability through test drives and system adjustments.
- Maintain vehicle appearance by cleaning, washing and painting, and troubleshoot breakdowns.
- Record all service and repair activities, and keep technical knowledge up‑to‑date through continuous learning.
Required profile
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or NVTI Part 3 in Automobile Engineering (or equivalent).
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Creative problem‑solving mindset and competent IT skills.
