Automotive Mechanic

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our on‑site team in Tema. You will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of light and heavy‑duty vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake servicing, tire rotations and fluid checks.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and manufacturer guidelines.
• Carry out complex repairs on engines, transmissions, suspension, steering and other systems.
• Maintain accurate service records and follow safety and quality procedures.
• Communicate vehicle conditions, recommended services and repair timelines clearly to supervisors and customers.

Required profile

• Vocational training in automotive technology or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience as a mechanic or technician in a workshop or fleet environment.
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams and manufacturer specifications.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability and commitment to safety standards.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Tema and collaborate with a diverse team.
