BECE Mathematics Teacher

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Mathematics teacher to lead immersive BECE (Basic Education Certificate Examination) sessions. You will combine your classroom expertise with Metaschool’s AI‑driven content and analytics to help learners master algebra, geometry and statistics.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑energy Mathematics lessons aligned with the BECE syllabus and Metaschool pacing guides.
• Design and run revision pathways, masterclasses and clinics that break complex topics into weekly learning sprints.
• Conduct diagnostic checks and timed drills to close foundational gaps and boost exam performance.
• Use learner analytics to provide actionable feedback, remediation and enrichment.
• Model professional conduct, mentor fellow teachers and share insights with the curriculum team.

Required profile

• Valid Ghana Teaching Council licence with Mathematics specialization.
• Minimum five years of full‑time classroom teaching experience in Ghana.
• Proven success preparing students for BECE assessments.
• Clear communication, professionalism and a commitment to safeguarding.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Metaschool’s virtual classroom platform.
• Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS) and data analytics dashboards.
