Branch Manager - Vehicle Rental Operations

About the role

RU TAXI is an international vehicle rental company for taxi drivers, operating in Russia and expanding across Africa and South America, and is an official partner of Yango. It is looking for an experienced, proactive Branch Manager to oversee its operations in Ghana. The position is full-time and on-site in Accra, with flexible working hours including availability outside standard business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily branch operations, manage employees, take part in recruitment and training, and coordinate rental managers, mechanics, accident response personnel and other departments.
• Oversee driver relations, rental agreements, rental payments and outstanding debts.
• Monitor the status of all vehicles, supervise maintenance, repairs and inspections, and coordinate with repair workshops and spare parts suppliers.
• Handle road accidents and insurance claims in coordination with accident response personnel and insurers.
• Monitor branch revenue, expenses, cash flow, payroll and financial reporting, and ensure compliance with local financial and tax obligations.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, dealerships and service providers, coordinate with Yango, and maintain GPS tracking and telecom services.
• Prepare regular reports, identify inefficiencies and propose improvements to reduce vehicle downtime and raise branch efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a management or operational leadership role, managing teams and coordinating business processes.
• Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make independent decisions.
• Good computer skills, including MS Excel and reporting tools; strong negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Russian or English is required.
• Experience in vehicle rental, fleet management, logistics, transportation or a similar business is an advantage.
