Business Manager – Farm Mechanisation & Equipment Financing

About the role

Our multinational client, a technology‑driven solutions provider for the agricultural sector, is seeking a Business Manager to lead farm mechanisation and equipment financing operations in Ghana. Reporting to the Regional Director of Operations, you will coordinate field services, drive revenue growth, and ensure operational efficiency across the agricultural value chain.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement repayment and down‑payment structures for equipment financing.
• Build and maintain relationships with workshops, technicians, and repair partners.
• Coordinate mechanisation services such as drying, threshing, cleaning, and tractor operations.
• Set and enforce standards for discipline, safety, and operational reporting.
• Achieve annual revenue targets while maintaining competitive pricing models.
• Identify, train, and monitor machine and tractor operators to ensure service quality.
• Monitor repayments, follow up overdue payments, and keep accurate operational records.
• Support digital tools for operational monitoring, reporting, and data accuracy.
• Track repair quality, equipment downtime, and maintenance costs.
• Mobilise farmers, create service demand, and ensure fair engagement structures for field representatives.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to engage farmer groups and commercial clients.
• Contribute to dashboards covering revenue, utilisation, repairs and repayments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture or a related field.
• Minimum eight (8) years of experience managing field operations, commercial activities or operational projects within agribusiness or related sectors.
• Proven experience with farm mechanisation and equipment financing processes.
