About the role
The Business Partner and Chef position is a contract role based on‑site at JohAnn Western Guesthouse in Tema. You will lead culinary operations while contributing to the guesthouse’s overall growth strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and present high‑quality, locally inspired meals for guests.
- Manage kitchen operations, including food sourcing, inventory control and compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
- Collaborate with management on menu pricing, cost control and revenue‑generation initiatives.
- Support marketing efforts and build strong relationships with suppliers and local partners.
Required profile
- Professional cooking skills with experience in menu planning and both local and international cuisines.
- Background in kitchen management, food safety, hygiene standards and inventory control.
- Business mindset with basic budgeting, cost management and strategic planning abilities.
- Strong customer‑service orientation and effective communication skills.
