Chartered Accountant – Group Finance

About the role

The Eskel Group of Companies is seeking a Chartered Accountant to lead financial management across its diverse subsidiaries, including logistics, transport, and consumer services. The role combines strict statutory compliance under Ghanaian law with commercial insight to support the group’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate financial statements of multiple subsidiaries in accordance with IFRS.
• Ensure full compliance with Ghana Revenue Authority regulations, including corporate tax, VAT, and SSNIT contributions.
• Oversee inter‑company reconciliations, asset transfers, and shared‑service allocations.
• Manage cost accounting for fleet operations, fuel consumption, maintenance depreciation, and route profitability.
• Control working capital, cash flow, and credit management to maintain liquidity.

Required profile

• Full member in good standing with the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG) – ACCA or CIMA holders must be cross‑registered.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
• 3–5 years post‑qualification experience in a conglomerate environment or reputable audit firm.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Advanced Excel skills for financial modelling.
• Strong understanding of Ghanaian tax law and compliance.
