Commercial Lead

About the role

ARC Ride, an early‑stage e‑mobility startup, is looking for a commercially driven Commercial Lead to own and execute its Ghana commercial strategy, driving revenue growth across fleet, corporate, SME, dealer and individual segments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategy, translating revenue targets into sales plans and channel priorities.
• Identify new customer segments and routes to market to accelerate electric motorcycle adoption.
• Build and manage a pipeline of high‑value fleet, corporate and institutional customers, leading negotiations to contract closure.
• Develop dealership, distributor and financing partnerships to expand market reach.
• Lead and grow the sales function, setting targets, managing performance and coaching the team.
• Track commercial KPIs, provide regular updates to senior leadership and coordinate with finance, operations and customer experience teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering or related field; postgraduate qualification advantageous.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in commercial, business development, sales or partnerships, with a proven B2B pipeline and deal‑closing record.
• Experience leading sales or business development teams in mobility, automotive, financial services, FMCG, telecoms, logistics or similar environments.
• Demonstrated ability to develop partnerships with banks, financial institutions, dealerships or distribution channels.
