Communications & Knowledge Management Associate

About the role

Pemcoa Foundation LBG is looking for a creative, motivated early-career professional to join its team as a Communications & Knowledge Management Associate. The Associate supports communications, digital visibility, programme documentation and knowledge management, translating programme activities, results and community experiences into clear, engaging communications products under the guidance of senior staff. The role suits a recent graduate or early-career professional wanting practical experience in a development organisation covering agriculture, food security, livelihoods, women's and youth economic empowerment, climate resilience, WASH, public health, gender equality and community development.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of the Foundation's communications and visibility activities.
• Help manage and regularly update social media platforms, develop captions, posts, short stories and campaign messages, and support content calendars.
• Document and develop success stories, impact stories, beneficiary stories and lessons learned, and gather information from participants, staff and stakeholders.
• Document project activities through photographs, short videos and field notes, with consent and safeguarding considerations.
• Draft and edit website content, programme updates, news items, profiles and briefs.
• Support simple graphics, presentations and other digital communications products.
• Maintain organised electronic repositories of photos, videos, reports, stories and communications products.
• Help turn monitoring data and results into accessible communications products, and monitor engagement with digital content and analyse social media performance.
• Support communications for events, trainings, stakeholder engagements and community activities, ensuring dignity, informed consent, safeguarding, gender equality and social inclusion, and consistent use of the Foundation's branding.
