Digital Content & Engagement Associate

About the role

The Digital Engagement Associate at Paahibu Space shapes and maintains the organization's online presence through day-to-day management of digital platforms, including social media, website content and digital media creation. Working closely with the Communications Manager Associate, the associate runs digital campaigns, produces content and monitors performance to drive audience engagement. It suits an early-career professional interested in digital storytelling, offering hands-on experience in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily social media operations, including content scheduling, posting, engagement and community moderation
• Respond promptly and professionally to comments, messages and inquiries, escalating critical issues as needed
• Maintain consistent posting schedules, tone and platform-specific best practices
• Create and edit short-form videos, reels, graphics, carousels and basic animations
• Support event and activity documentation by turning raw media into polished, platform-ready content
• Adapt approved messaging into engaging formats for different digital channels
• Update website content such as blog posts, announcements and resources
• Organize digital asset libraries of photos, videos, graphics and templates
• Run digital campaigns based on briefs, track reach, impressions and engagement, and share performance reports with recommendations
• Experiment with new content formats, tools and platform features
• Collaborate with programme and community teams to gather content and visuals, and ensure deliverables are on-brand and on schedule
