Field Marketing Officer

About the role

A full-time Marketing Officer position based in Accra, within the retail, fashion and FMCG sector. The role centres on field marketing, visiting retailers, distributors and potential customers to promote company products and support sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute field marketing activities, promotions and product activations.
• Visit retail outlets, distributors and potential customers to promote company products.
• Build and maintain relationships with retailers, wholesalers and distributors.
• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitor activity and market opportunities.
• Monitor product visibility, availability and brand positioning at points of sale.
• Support sales teams in achieving marketing and sales targets.
• Prepare reports on field activities, customer feedback and campaign performance.
• Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and market share.

Required profile

• HND or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in the FMCG industry.
• Proven field marketing experience and willingness to travel within assigned areas.
• Ability to work independently, meet targets and deliver results; proactive, organised and results-oriented.

• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Good understanding of market trends, product promotion and customer engagement.
