Compliance Manager & Anti-Money Laundering Reporting Officer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager who will also serve as the Anti‑Money Laundering Reporting Officer (AMLRO) for a fast‑growing fintech/payment services company in Ghana. You will lead the regulatory compliance framework, AML/CFT controls, and KYC due‑diligence processes to ensure alignment with Bank of Ghana requirements and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the company’s regulatory compliance framework, policies and procedures.
• Monitor and interpret Bank of Ghana regulations and other relevant laws, advising management on implications.
• Conduct periodic reviews of controls, identify regulatory risks, and recommend improvements.
• Oversee AML/CFT policies, customer and merchant KYC, CDD and EDD procedures, and perform AML risk assessments.
• Prepare and submit compliance reports and regulatory filings; liaise with the Bank of Ghana and other authorities.
• Provide guidance and training to management and staff on compliance and AML matters.

Required profile

• Minimum 48 months (4 years) of experience in compliance, AML, or related regulatory roles.
• Strong knowledge of Ghanaian financial regulations, Bank of Ghana directives, and AML/CFT standards.
• Proven ability to design and manage compliance frameworks and risk‑assessment processes.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the capacity to work cross‑functionally.
