Credit Recoveries Manager

About the role

The Credit Recoveries Manager will lead the Credit Recovery Unit at Sekyere Rural Bank, overseeing all recovery activities, developing comprehensive recovery plans, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and control all activities of the Credit Recovery Unit.
• Develop and obtain approval for a comprehensive recovery plan and strategies.
• Recommend and develop programmes for recovery staff.
• Liaise with Credit, Microfinance, and Branch Managers on recovery matters.
• Manage records of recoveries, legal documents, and court filings.
• Coordinate with the bank’s lawyer on credit cases pending in court.
• Handle credit referencing processes for the bank.
• Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, and yearly recovery reports.

Required profile

• Degree holder in Accounting, Statistics, Banking & Finance or ACCA II/ACIB.
• Minimum five years of experience in a financial institution.
• Demonstrated in‑depth knowledge of the Lenders and Borrowers Act and the Credit Reporting Act 2007 (Act 726).
• Very good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team player.
