Dairy Quality Manager (Kumasi, Ghana)

About the role

Twellium Industrial Company Limited, a beverage and snack manufacturer founded in Ghana in 2013, is looking for a Dairy Quality Manager based in Kumasi, Ashanti Region. The manager oversees all quality control and assurance activities so that products comply with health, safety and quality standards, working closely with production teams to drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal food safety and quality regulations, including HACCP, GMP and ISO certifications.
• Oversee quality control inspections and supervise regular testing of raw materials, in-process products and finished goods.
• Analyse test results, identify deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and work with production teams to fix quality issues.
• Evaluate supplier materials and work with suppliers to resolve quality problems.
• Maintain detailed records of quality activities, test results and corrective actions.
• Prepare quality reports for senior management and train the team on industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Food Science or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in a similar role; dairy experience is mandatory.
• Advanced degree or certification in quality management is a plus.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality assurance principles.
