Digital Marketing Manager

About the role

The Digital Marketing Manager will lead Telecel’s digital strategy, shaping the brand’s presence across social, search and earned media. The role focuses on driving youth and digital‑culture engagement, increasing adoption of Telecel’s digital products and establishing a measurable share‑of‑voice advantage.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end digital competitive strategy and share‑of‑voice programme.
• Identify competitor vulnerabilities and neutralise rival digital campaigns.
• Monitor online sentiment, manage response protocols and maintain a crisis playbook.
• Drive digital adoption for Telecel Cash, Telecel Play, TERi, E‑Commerce and other e‑channels.
• Lead the social ecosystem for Telecel Cash, including content creation and community growth.
• Oversee website optimisation to improve registration‑to‑active conversion rates.
• Develop and execute an always‑on content strategy across all owned digital properties.
• Embed youth culture, music, gaming and lifestyle trends into digital storytelling.
• Manage influencer and creator programmes, from selection to long‑term partnership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
• 7+ years of digital marketing experience with proven leadership of a digital function.
• Experience with social listening, CRM or marketing automation platforms (preferred).
• Demonstrated use of AI tools in marketing workflows (preferred).
• Strong ability to interpret data, manage online communities and drive product adoption.
