Marketing Executive (Local Hire)

About the role

The Marketing Executive assists the Director of Sales & Marketing in positioning and promoting Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City and its outlets as market leaders through marketing activities, while ensuring compliance with the Kempinski brand. The role is based in Accra, Ghana, and includes administrative support for the marketing office alongside hands-on marketing work.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative and secretarial support: coordinate appointments and schedules, maintain the filing system, handle calls and daily correspondence, and process financial documents such as purchase orders and expense claims.
• Handle vendor invoices and act as point of contact for billing matters.
• Create and implement marketing activities: collateral, promotions and packages, advertising, market analysis, photo shoots, and hotel listings in online and offline media.
• Plan, coordinate and run direct marketing campaigns, maintain the guest database for mailings, and liaise with the F&B department to promote outlets.
• Conduct regular competition checks and benchmarking, create office presentations, and manage give-aways and collateral.
• Maintain picture storage and distribution systems (Picture Park and VFM Leonardo), provide content and images for websites in line with Corporate Identity, and keep marketing guidelines up to date.
• Support the development of the hotel marketing budget, communicate with internal departments and external agencies, and stay informed about hotel activities, promotions and rates.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Hospitality Management.
• 3 years of experience in a media agency.
• Knowledge of marketing basics and technical terms, and of graphic and print terminology.
• Excellent oral and written skills.

Required skills

• Copywriting and data analysis skills.
• Microsoft Office.
• Graphic design software such as Photoshop and InDesign is a plus.
• SEO, SEM, content creation, social media and digital marketing skills.
