Director of Operations – Hotel Management

About the role

The Director of Operations leads the strategic business functions of the hotel, overseeing Front Office, Recreation/Health Club, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Engineering/Maintenance. This senior position works with department heads to implement brand strategies, ensure guest satisfaction, and drive financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with the brand’s business goals.
• Monitor profitability, revenue targets, occupancy, rates, wages, and controllable expenses.
• Lead department teams, communicate service vision, and ensure alignment across hotel leadership.
• Review guest feedback, address complaints, and maintain high service standards.
• Facilitate human resources activities, including performance reviews, staff meetings, and employee engagement.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or related field with 4 years of relevant experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience.
• Proven ability to manage profitability, revenue goals, and guest experience in a hotel environment.
