About the role
The Judicial Service of Ghana is seeking qualified individuals to serve as District Magistrates. The position is based in Accra and offers a very attractive remuneration package. Applicants are required to forward their CV, completed application form, copies of enrolment and qualifying certificates, and contact details of three referees to the Judicial Secretary.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out the duties of a District Magistrate as assigned by the Judicial Service of Ghana.
Required profile
- Ghanaian national.
- Enrolled on the roll of lawyers in Ghana.
- Person of high moral character.
- Successful completion of a written examination and a post‑examination interview.
- Newly enrolled lawyers currently undertaking their pupillage may also apply.
Required skills
- Proficiency in word processing software such as Microsoft Word.
