About the role
A client is looking for a reliable, safety-oriented and punctual driver to join its team. The driver transports passengers or goods safely and efficiently to designated locations, keeps the vehicle clean and follows all traffic regulations and company policies.
Key responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport passengers or deliverables on time.
- Plan optimal routes using GPS navigation to avoid delays and traffic.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip checks of fluid levels, tire pressure and brakes.
- Maintain accurate mileage logs, fuel receipts and delivery documents.
- Keep the vehicle clean, well maintained and regularly serviced.
- Comply with local traffic laws, safety protocols and operational guidelines.
Required profile
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a professional driver or courier.
- Familiarity with local routes, traffic laws and GPS navigation.
- Excellent time management, communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
