Estate Officer (University Estate Department)

About the role

Koforidua Technical University is seeking a dynamic, self‑motivated professional to lead its Estate Department as Estate Officer. Reporting to the Director of Works and Physical Development, the incumbent will operate under the Technical Universities Act, 2016 and ensure effective management of the university’s estate assets.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the overall head of the Estate Department, overseeing all estate operations.
• Collaborate closely with the Office of Works and Physical Development to align estate activities with university policies.
• Ensure compliance with the Technical Universities Act, 2016 (Act 922) and related statutes.
• Manage estate staff, budgets, and resources to maintain and develop university facilities.
• Provide strategic advice to the Director of Works and Physical Development on estate matters.

Required profile

• Research Master’s degree in Built Environment, Land Economy, Estate Management or a related field.
• Relevant professional qualification in estate or property management.
• Minimum six (6) years of experience as an Estate Officer in a university or comparable institution.
• Demonstrated ability to produce scholarly papers and publications for external assessment.
• Computer literacy.
