Executive Assistant to Managing Director – Telecel Cash

About the role

The Executive Assistant will provide high‑level administrative and business support to the Managing Director of Telecel Cash and the broader Telecel Cash function. This role ensures smooth operations, effective stakeholder communication, and contributes to the execution of strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively manage the MD’s calendar, aligning appointments with strategic priorities.
• Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely and professional communication.
• Draft, proofread, and refine high‑impact correspondence, reports, and presentations.
• Coordinate logistics for meetings, conferences, and team events, ensuring seamless execution.
• Anticipate and manage administrative needs, including travel, supplies, and documentation.
• Support Telecel Cash business initiatives by tracking progress, managing documentation, and coordinating stakeholders.
• Handle confidential information with discretion, complying with data privacy and governance standards.
• Identify and implement improvements in administrative processes and team coordination.
• Drive Telecel Cash huddles, budget coordination, and leadership team meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum a degree, preferably in HR, Business Administration or a related field.
• Project management, communication and reporting experience.
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
• Ability to develop and manage budgets.
• Proactive, initiative‑taking attitude with the ability to anticipate team needs.
• Ability to work seamlessly across the Telecel Cash team and channel inputs into outcomes.
