Fabricator – Metal Production Specialist

About the role

The Fabricator will work on‑site in Tema, producing metal components and structures based on technical drawings and specifications. This full‑time position involves hands‑on fabrication, quality checks, and collaboration with supervisors to meet production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal parts using grinders, saws, drills and welding equipment.
• Interpret blueprints and fabrication plans to ensure accurate alignment and fit‑up.
• Perform quality inspections to verify that finished items meet safety and performance standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment, and follow workplace safety protocols.
• Assist with installation, repairs, and modifications of fabricated items as required.

Required profile

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and fabrication plans.
• Proven experience in metal fabrication and basic mechanical aptitude.
• Practical welding experience (MIG, TIG or arc) and knowledge of welding safety standards.
• Understanding of workshop safety procedures and use of personal protective equipment.
• Physical capability to stand for long periods, lift moderate weights and perform manual tasks in an industrial environment.
