Factory Operative – Fruit Juice Production

About the role

The Factory Operative will support fruit juice production at our Spintex facility, handling preparation, processing, packaging and sanitation tasks. This entry‑level position offers on‑the‑job training and practical experience in food manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Wash, sort, peel and chop fresh fruit for juice processing.
• Assist in operating juice production equipment such as blenders, fruit presses and pasteurisation machines.
• Fill, seal, label and package juice bottles and cartons according to production requirements.
• Clean and sterilise production equipment, machinery and workstations daily.
• Maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Move crates, handle production materials, organise stock and support loading activities.
• Follow production instructions, collaborate with other factory staff and adhere to food safety and workplace procedures.

Required profile

• SHS certificate or basic education preferred.
• Physical fitness to stand for long periods and lift light‑to‑moderate loads.
• Strong commitment to personal hygiene and food safety standards.
• Reliability, punctuality and ability to work under supervision.
• Team‑oriented attitude and willingness to learn new skills.

Required skills

• Basic operation of juice production equipment (blenders, fruit presses, pasteurisation machines).
