Farm Manager

About the role

ABE Farms and Feeds is seeking a dedicated Farm Manager to oversee daily operations of its modern livestock enterprise in Kumasi. The role combines hands‑on animal production with feed processing and product marketing, offering a unique opportunity to develop comprehensive farm management skills.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise livestock rearing, health monitoring, and nutrition programs.
• Manage feed production processes, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Coordinate marketing activities for livestock and agricultural products.
• Maintain farm records, inventory, and compliance with local regulations.
• Lead and mentor farm staff, fostering a safe and productive work environment.

Required profile

• Qualification in Animal Production, Animal Science, Agribusiness, or equivalent practical experience.
• Knowledge of farm management, feed processing, and livestock marketing.
• Self‑motivated, responsible, and comfortable working in a farm setting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
