Farm Technical Manager

About the role

Crystal Lake Fish Limited is looking for a Farm Technical Manager to lead the technical operations of its fish farm in Accra. The role involves ensuring optimal production, maintaining high standards of fish health, and supporting the company’s growth in the aquaculture sector.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily farm activities, including feeding, water management, and harvesting.
• Monitor water quality and environmental parameters to ensure optimal conditions.
• Implement bio‑security measures and disease prevention protocols.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and technical documentation.
• Supervise and train technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with senior management on production planning, budgeting, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum first degree in aquaculture or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in a senior technical position within aquaculture or fish farming.
• Strong knowledge of fish biology, water quality management, and farm operations.
• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
