Field Sales Associate

About the role

BIMA Ghana (Milvik) is a FinTech company that uses mobile technology to bring insurance and health services to consumers with low incomes. It is recruiting a Field Sales Associate in Kumasi and the Ashanti Region on a full-time basis. The role involves educating potential and existing customers about BIMA's products and services, matching them to suitable offerings and meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Learn quickly the BIMA product and service offering and the sales approach expected of Field Sales Associates, staying up to date with product changes.
• Talk to potential and existing customers, explain the products and services, answer questions and concerns, and look to upsell appropriate products to existing customers.
• Evaluate customer needs and match BIMA products and services to build lasting relationships.
• Meet or exceed sales and other goals while maintaining professional standards of quality and conduct.
• Meet Team Leaders at the agreed spot and time each day and report absence before the workday starts.
• Wear the BIMA field uniform daily.
• Use BIMA's tools and systems to record customer and transaction information accurately.
• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally, resolving product or service problems and following up until resolved.
• Adhere to the business code of conduct, corporate policies, guidelines and statutory requirements.
• Contribute actively to the team, especially in team meetings and learning initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification: Senior High School (SHS).
• Preferred: experience selling insurance or working in the savings and loans sector.
• Full-time position.

What we offer

• Compensation based on a salary and allowance of GHc3k plus commission.
