Field Supervisor – Construction Site Management

About the role

The Field Supervisor will oversee on‑site construction activities for a leading building materials and services company in Nsawam. You will coordinate workers, subcontractors, and contracts to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily on‑site activities and building contracts.
• Ensure work is completed on schedule, within budget, and meets quality specifications.
• Guide and monitor field workers and subcontractors.
• Interpret plans and specifications to verify correct execution.
• Monitor safety practices and enforce site regulations.
• Liaise with project managers, clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, highlighting issues and resolutions.
• Oversee proper use, handling, and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Facilitate effective communication between management and field teams.

Required profile

• Diploma, HND or Degree in Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction supervision (Site/Field Supervisor or similar).
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, tools and methods.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans and specifications.
• Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
• Disciplined, reliable, safety‑conscious and hardworking.
• Residency in Nsawam or nearby areas is an advantage.
