Finance and Administration Manager for Ghana Malaria Activity

About the role

The Finance & Administration Manager will lead all financial reporting, procurement, logistics, human resources and administrative operations for the Ghana Malaria Activity, reporting to the Chief of Party.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise procurement, finance, HR and administrative staff and ensure compliance with USG and Abt policies.
• Manage project bank accounts, cash, payroll, tax filings and month‑end/year‑end close processes.
• Develop, monitor and forecast project budgets, track expenditures and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Oversee procurement planning, vendor management and timely issuance of purchase orders.
• Coordinate financial audits, subcontractor agreements and provide field‑level financial compliance support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience managing finance and contractual aspects of international development projects, preferably USG‑funded.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems, specifically Deltek Costpoint.
• Knowledge of US Government Cost Accounting Standards.
