Food & Beverage Service Supervisor

About the role

The Food & Beverage Service Supervisor ensures that the service team works together to deliver optimal guest experiences at Marriott’s Accra location. This full‑time position involves overseeing daily operations, maintaining standards, and supporting staff development.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect staff grooming, attire and rectify deficiencies.
• Complete opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, and securing the premises.
• Monitor storage areas for organization, FIFO usage and cleanliness.
• Conduct inventories, stock supplies and requisition needed items.
• Oversee dining room seating, service quality, safety and guest wellbeing.
• Process work orders for maintenance repairs.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching employees.
• Enforce company safety policies, report incidents and complete required safety training.
• Maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs and provide assistance to individuals with disabilities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant food‑and‑beverage experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb, standing for long periods and navigating confined spaces.
